A safari with Garland Hunting Safaris is not only for the hunter. The Eastern Cape and surrounding regions have plenty to offer non-hunting companions who would like to experience more of South Africa during their stay.

Whether you prefer to spend a relaxing day in camp, join the hunters in the field to experience the excitement of the safari, or venture out and explore the surrounding area, a variety of activities and excursions can be arranged depending on your interests and the location of your safari.

From wildlife viewing and photographic experiences to sightseeing, shopping, coastal excursions, fishing and visits to local attractions, there are opportunities to experience the natural beauty, culture and hospitality of the Eastern Cape beyond the hunt. Almost anything can be planned, including experiences beyond the Eastern Cape, depending on your interests and available travel time.

Our team will be happy to assist with recommendations and help arrange suitable activities wherever possible. Excursions are subject to availability, location and travel distances, and some activities may need to be booked in advance.

Unless otherwise included in your safari package, any costs associated with non-hunting excursions, entrance fees or external activities are for the guest's own account and may be settled directly with the relevant establishment or service provider.
